The Circle of Security® Parenting program is based on 50 years of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, and how this type of early intervention can effect outcomes for the child across their lifespan.
The principles help you set the foundations for healthy, emotionally open relationships that apply across your child’s whole life. This has a significant impact on a child’s mental health later in life, increases their ability to regulate their emotions and has the potential to influence the relationship your children have with their own children.
Corinna Chambers Psychologists run the 8 week Circle of Security Parenting program 3 times a year provided there are at least 8-10 parents registered to attend.
Our program is especially suitable for working parents who are unable to attend the free programs that are mostly run during the work day and we have scheduled the course after hours to accommodate this. These sessions usually run between 6:30-8:30pm on a Monday evening.
